CENTRAL, LEEWARD OAHU: It is truly astonishing to think of the amount of people who have chosen to purchase real estate on the Central, Leeward (a.k.a. West Oahu) of Oahu. Vibrant, people filled communities have established this area in recent years. Real estate here is by far the most affordable on the island. Ewa Beach, Kapolei and Makakilo communities also offer wonderful opportunities for first time home buyers. Drive a little further and you will see a tropical oasis called Ko'Olina. There you will find the fabulous JW Marriot Ihilani Resort and Spa that has all the ammenities your heart will desire; a spa, golf course, fine dining and more. This resort overlooks one of the finest white sand beaches in Hawaii. Disney has also gotten in on the act and is in the process of building their new resort which will attract more people and add more value to the area.

Upscale single family homes and condominiums are located nearby that offer many of the resort perks. Developers are building some sweet neighborhoods where sugar cane once grew.
